The Metropolitan Breakfast



We prepare your breakfast fresh to order using fresh locally sourced ingredients where possible. Please order the main course of your breakfast by choosing one of the options on the reverse of the slip and leave the completed slip in the dining room by 10pm the evening before.

You are invited to help yourself to a selection of cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit, Juices and home baked pastries, toast and preserves honey and marmalade.

“Bamburgh Banger” award winning sausage, Bacon, free range egg fried, boiled, poached or scrambled, grilled vine tomato, fresh mushroom, hash brown and beans, (Vegetarian sausage is available)


Home Made Kedgeree

“Great taste” award winning smoked haddock flakes with rice, blended with herbs and spices and served with poached or boiled free-range egg.

Kipper pate from the award winning fish merchant ‘Swallows’ served with toast.


Smoked Salmon                                                                                                                                 

Traditionally oak smoked salmon with scrambled egg served on a toasted English muffin.


There are a selection of herbal teas, traditional tea, ground coffee or hot chocolate (decaffeinated tea and coffee available )
