CHECK IN/OUT

'Check in' is between 2:30pm and 9:30pm, 'Check out' is by 10:30am. Later or earlier Check in/out is available with prior arrangement.

 

DEPOSIT

A NON REFUNDABLE deposit of £10 per person must be paid to confirm the booking. Once the deposit has been paid, a letter/email of confirmation will be sent to you. This will confirm the date of your booking, the amount of deposit paid and the remaining balance to pay. If the deposit has not been paid, the reservation will not be confirmed.

 

CANCELLATIONS 

For individual bookings, our 'Cancellation Policy' is 48 hours prior to the date of arrival. This means that if you cancel your booking before 48 hours of your arrival, you will only loose your deposit. If you cancel your booking within 48 hours of your arrival, you will be charged for the first nights accommodation. If you have supplied your credit card details, your card will be charged for the appropriate amount. By supplying your credit card details we assume that you have "intent" to pay and therefore enter a legally binding contract with ourselves. If you do not arrive on your date which you have booked (no-show) then you will be charged for a 1 night stay. 

 

GROUP BOOKINGS

Group bookings are welcome at The Metropolitan. A 'Group Booking' is a booking for 10 or more people. The 'Cancellation Policy' for a group is 14 days prior to the date of your arrival. If you cancel your booking before 14 days of your arrival, you will only lose your deposit. If a cancellation is made within 14 days of your arrival, the group will be charged for the first nights accommodation. If you have supplied your credit card details, your card will be charged for the appropriate amount. By supplying your credit card details we assume that you have "intent" to pay and therefore enter a legally binding contract with ourselves. If your group does not arrive on your date which you have booked (no-show) then you will be charged for a 1 night stay for each person in your group. Please note that a group booking WILL be subject to pay a security bond on arrival. Security bonds are required to cover for any damages, removal of any hotel property, or any other incidents that may occur within your group. Security bonds will be FULLY REFUNDED on departure of the group after a room inspection has been conducted by the manager. 

THE METROPOLITAN RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE A BOOKING which does not meet our criteria of our term and conditions.

 

PAYMENTS

Payments for the remaining balance of your booking is required upon arrival and must be done when you 'Check in'. Payments can be made by cash or by credit card. Personal cheques will NOT be accepted for payment of your remaining balance. 

 

NO SMOKING

The Metropolitan has a NO SMOKING policy. Therefore smoking is  prohibited in any part of the building, this includes all bedrooms and public areas. Any guests who smoke within the building will be reported to the authorities and an extra charge of £50 will be made for cleaning and deodourising.
